For our office in Amsterdam we are looking for an enthusiastic Intern for the duration of 6 months within our Transaction & Position Management Team. You can start directly if that fits your schedule.
The department Transaction & Position Management is responsible for the processes and systems that manage the Sales and Asset Positions in the Trade system. This includes the processes around receiving, validating and processing market data that we receive from various market parties. The team consists of 17 qualified people.
As an intern at this department you are responsible for the improvements of the Market data processes. The market data that we process include a.o. metering data, allocation data and reconciliation data. We receive data for various countries and for various commodities like power and gas. For this we receive thousands of hourly time series on a daily basis. The processes include:
We offer you a challenging internship by working on interesting cases and analyses on high level in the energy market. From the start you will get responsibly to work on projects and be part of the team.If you undertake an internship at Vattenfall you will be part of the internship network 'Voltage'. We organize activities for our interns on a regular basis. For example: application training, LinkedIn training, lunches and excursions (for example to The Nuon Solar Team).
There are also monthly sports, cultural and social activities from the MegaWatt network (this is the young employees network in Nuon) you can join.

Vattenfall/Nuon gives a fixed compensation of 500 euros. If you don’t have a student travel card, we will also pay travel costs.
