Social business

Cambio Spanish School (Cambio) is a business start-up, initiated in the beginning of 2013 by NGO Niños de Guatemala, following the principles of profit-for-nonprofit. As a social business, Cambio aims to make a difference in the social development of low-income families in Guatemala as well as to provide the highest quality Spanish instruction available in Antigua. Through focusing on these objectives, Cambio aims to grow into one of the most important players among Spanish schools in Guatemala.

In addition, Niños de Guatemala operates a commercial venture called “Experience Guatemala Tour”. On this unique tour, tourists visit NDG schools, local businesses, and the community where most NDG children and their families live. The tour generates funding for NDG schools, and participants learn about social issues in Guatemala.
